Boutique Hotel Malabongwe – The client Bernie and Katie Blaau, we were appointed to design a Moroccan style hotel, the existing shapes of the building lends it self to this style. Morocco’s magic can overwhelm even the most practical sensibility. European shores, though so close, seem far removed, as the sights, smells, and texture of North Africa welcome the traveler. Traditionally garbed men wear long, hooded robes, or djellabas, while women may be draped in blue haiks, their faces veiled with black scarves that leave only their dark, kohl-rimmed eyes visible. The mountain, desert, and ocean vistas reveal nature’s inexorable forces at work, while in the towns; bustling markets give way to narrow alleys down which a traveler might find small, cave-like, and possibly magical shops selling rare powders and spices, or even a jinn embodying the ancient power of Morocco. There are special places in the world that possess a unique ambience – cities that seem to glow with eternal grandeur and landscapes whose features change with the seasons yet remain perpetually entrancing. The timeless architectural style captures the essence of these beloved places.

The Jewel Hotel Lebango, Angola – The Jewel of Africa, Arabian style 64 room hotel. Design stage is underway, we were appointed January 2009. Located in the town Lebango, the construction resembles an Arabic fortress. With loving attention to detail, the architecture and finishing pay homage to the traditional image of the ancient, often mysterious, Orient. The palm gardens, the water streams, spa, and a lounge on the roof are sights for sore eyes.
kairos bush lodge, Pierneef's farm - Jacobus Hendrik Pierneef (usually referred to as Pierneef) (13 August 1886 Pretoria – 4 October 1957) Pretoria, was a South African landscape artist, generally considered to be one of the best of the old South African masters. His distinctive style is widely recognized and his work was greatly influenced by the South African landscape.
Most of his landscapes were of the South African highveld, which provided a lifelong source of inspiration for him. Pierneef's style was to reduce and simplify the landscape to geometric structures, using flat planes, lines and colour to present the harmony and order in nature. Diepsloot Shopping Mall - Client Nedbank - This project was a R2.000.000.00 contract voted shopping mall of the year (lower income group category). Our entrance theme was based on St Peter's Cathedral, arms of welcoming in the form of a colonnade (like a mother gathering her chicks).
Charterhouse Primary/ High School - client Warrick Dodge, Dean. Dallas and Jean Dodge. Charterhouse is one of the leading primary, high school's in Jo'burg. They are affiliated with Cambridge University, England. They rated the science laboratory as the best in the southern hemisphere.
The Ridge Shopping Mall - A contemporary designed Structure. Using a curved roof structure reduced the cost of the roof and steel trusses by 10%. The use of timber laminated columns looked incredible and is the first comment people make when visiting the centre.
Dasport Station, Pretoria - client Intersite/ Metro appointed our firm to design and construct train stations through out South Africa.

St Paul's Church – alberton – with an extremely small budget we designed a 500 seat church, using a steel shed construction, brick infill panels and cladding the steel columns to resembling gothic buttresses, the roof was cladd with ibr sheeting, a timber 3 dimensional cross was made and hung in the entrance.
